Holland »¢Ñ¨ÊÓƵwill host a series of program showcases this spring. The events provide an opportunity for prospective and accepted students to meet the faculty and see their classroom environments ahead of the fall semester.
Each session will include an overview of the program, with faculty and staff available to answer any questions about the admissions processes, course requirements, and what to expect once classes begin.
“We’ve had tremendous feedback on these events in the past, says Shannon Rush, Manager - Recruitment & First Year Advising. “Starting a new program can be intimidating, and these program showcases give students a chance to get familiar with the college and feel better prepared for the fall”
The Recruitment and First Year Advising team has contacted prospective and accepted students but encourages anyone with interest in a program to attend.
“It’s a great way to ensure students are set up for success,” says Patricia Shields, Holland »¢Ñ¨ÊÓƵVice President, Academic & Applied Research. “We want our students to have the best possible experience. These showcases give them the opportunity to confirm that their chosen program aligns with their career goals. If it turns out not to be the right fit, there is still plenty of time to address any challenges and find solutions."
