Holland »¢Ñ¨ÊÓÆµFoundation Welcomes New Board Member


Marc Champoux headshotCharlottetown, PE – The Holland »¢Ñ¨ÊÓÆµFoundation is pleased to welcome Marc Champoux, Vice President Atlantic Provinces, BMO Private Wealth, to its Board of Directors.  

Marc brings a wealth of experience to the Foundation board. He began his career with BMO Nesbitt Burns in 1994. After 25 years as a producing advisor and manager, he transitioned to the Regional Vice-President role, overseeing the BMO Private Wealth operation in Atlantic Canada. Marc holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Dalhousie University.

Marc has served on the boards of various charities and foundations, including The QE2 Foundation, The Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame, The Festival Antigonish Summer Theatre Foundation, and L'ArcheAntigonish. He also served as Co-Chair of the 2018 Canada Summer Special Olympic Games, which was hosted in Nova Scotia.

The appointment of Marc Champoux coincides with the retirement of Holland »¢Ñ¨ÊÓÆµFoundation board member Alanna Taylor. Other directors include Mark Ledwell (Chair, on leave), Lloyd Compton (Second Vice-Chair), Kent Scales (Past Chair), Kathleen Casey, Blake Doyle, Dr. Kate Ellis Ghiz, Todd Gregory, John Horrelt, Barbara E. Smith, K.C., and Ex-Officio directors Jo-Ann Campbell-Boutilier (Executive Director), Suzanne Iwankow (Acting Secretary/Treasurer), and Holland »¢Ñ¨ÊÓÆµPresident, Dr. Alexander (Sandy) MacDonald.
