As a CAD Operator at Locus Surveys Ltd., you will be responsible for transforming various survey data into precise and detailed drawings using Carlson Survey software that is powered by AutoCAD. The role primarily involves creating 2D, one-sheet projects focused on property boundaries with accompanying text, constituting 90% of the work. The remaining 10% entails drawing for topographical surveys, plan and profile views, as-built documentation, and volume calculations where 3D values are necessary. Proficiency in geometry and the ability to visualize spatial dimensions in 3D are advantageous. This position also includes sourcing available property data from internet sites and internal files. Additionally, the role requires close collaboration with the Land Surveyor.
