Job Description

Financial Literacy Group Facilitator: Lead engaging group sessions on foundational financial literacy topics (e.g., budgeting, debt management, saving).

One-to-One Financial Coach: Provide personalized, confidential coaching and support to individuals working toward specific financial goals.

Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) Preparer: Prepare and file simple income tax returns for eligible clients through the Canada Revenue Agency's CVITP.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of finances, poverty, and the impact on quality of life.
  • Understanding of Trauma-Informed, Harm Reduction, and Strengths-Based approaches.
  • Exceptional conflict resolutions and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with vulnerable populations.
