Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
- Represent Hot 105.5 & Ocean 100 at events, remotes, and promotions across PEI Assist with external marketing plans and content
- Coordinate station appearances Liaison with key community groups and partners
- Set up eye-catching event displays (tents, banners, audio/video gear — the full “radio roadshow” experience)
- Hype up crowds, engage listeners, and create fun, memorable moments
- Think fast and get creative — no two events are ever the same
- Work as part of a tight-knit promotions team while also owning your role
- Jump on the mic as an MC when needed
- Create and share fresh, fun content for social media
- Safely handle and store station equipment and vehicles
- Create schedules and maintain timeliness according to when you are needed
- Follow health, safety, and public protocols at all times
Qualifications
You’re a Great Fit If You…
- Are 19 years of age or older
- Have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Are studying (or have studied) broadcasting, media, marketing, PR — or just love radio and events
- Are confident, outgoing, and not afraid to talk to everyone
- Know your way around social media and how to grab attention fast
- Can work evenings, weekends, holidays, and the occasional late night
- Are a team player with a positive attitude and high energy
- Don’t mind lifting, setting up, and handling heavy promotional gear
- Understand how important it is to represent our brands professionally — while still having fun
