Do you have a creative mind? Do you like exploring digital, social media, advertising, and branding trends? If you said yes to those questions, then consider the Marketing and Advertising Management program.

Through your coursework, you’ll learn how to effectively market anything in today’s ever-changing, highly competitive marketing world. As a graduate, you'll know how to brand a product or service across multiple mediums and know how to make an impact on your audience.

Our program will help prepare you for a dynamic field with a wide range of skills, including marketing strategy, social media content management, market research, and advertising in many business environments. Throughout your time in the program, you will develop a comprehensive portfolio that effectively demonstrates your marketing education and proficiency to potential employers. We are members of the Canadian Marketing Association and the local Chamber of Commerce.

Program Learning Outcomes


Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate an understanding of business principles, concepts, and theories.
  2. Participate in market research, analyze data, and interpret findings to inform marketing strategies.
  3. Develop brand strategies, including positioning, messaging, and visual identity.
  4. Assist with the development of strategic plans to support an organization's marketing function. 
  5. Supports developing creative solutions for advertising and marketing plans and communications challenges.
  6. Support implementing digital marketing strategies to reach target audiences using various digital marketing channels.
  7. Demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills to practical applications.
  8. Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze problems and develop solutions. 
  9. Communicate effectively in written, oral, graphic, and interactive media formats.
  10. Demonstrate professionalism by adhering to ethical principles and professional standards.
